Bad idea, some model had the speed sensor in speedometer and you will have poor performance of engine and transmission, try it ?

Code will come on and dealer will know by the code ,if warranty is finish it is ok, when reconnect everythink will be ok

SOURCE: toyota sienna 1998 odometer light

if its only the odometer light thats out then you will have to pull the dash assembly and replace the bulb for the odometer, its a good idea to replace the other bulbs so you won`t have to do this again for another bulb.

2007 Toyota Sienna camshaft position sensor location and part number?

Question edited for clarity, and add maker.
Question moved to model category.

Videos showing location and replacing.

https://www.google.com/search?q=2007+Toyota+Sienna+camshaft+position+sensor+location

You don't need a part number, you just buy by 'year make model'. Don't go cheap on sensors, make sure they are Denso OEM quality and not made in China or Mexico.

https://www.google.com/search?q=2007+Toyota+Sienna+camshaft+position+sensor

The part number is shown in this one. Don't forget there is one on each bank. Your scan tool computer should tell you which one is faulty.

TOYOTA SIENNA MAINT REQD LITE CAME ON AFTER SCHEDULE MAINTANANCE

If the dealer/mechanic did the service early the light will come on when service is DUE. Go back to him and have it turned off. Search the web someone may have the procedure posted. Usually simple. Google "Toyota service light reset" or "Toyota Maintence light reset" Try this one
  1. With the car started (ignition on), set the LCD odometer readout to total mileage (not trip A or B).
  2. Turn the car off (ignition key to the OFF position).
  3. Push in AND HOLD the button/knob that switches the odometer
  4. Turn key to ON position without starting the car. You will notice the maintenance light blink and go out.
  5. Release the odometer button/knob.
  6. Turn key to OFF position.
  7. That's it! The "MAINT REQD" light has been reset to warn you to change your oil in another 5,000 or 7,500 miles or so.

The maintenance required light has come on and we have just had the oil and filter changed. How do we reset the system. I have a 2008 Toyota Sienna.

Key in the off position, press and hold odometer button, turn key on. If done properly, you will see dashes on odometer, they will disappear in 10 seconds. You may now remove finger from button. The system has been reset.
