Need 12 V Battery- Corvette Yellow purchased at Toys R Us

Where can I find a replacement Safety First 12 volt battery for the yellow Corvette. We bought it at Toys R Us a few years ago and they don't sell the batteries alone. I checked Walmart and Target, but no luck.

Personally I'd buy another brand of 12 volt and just change the ends to fit in car. Measure dimensions of original.

SOURCE: Replacement battery for Yellow Powered Corvette

I just checked and found one for fisher price cars on amazon...I'm not sure if it's what you want or need (no kids, never saw that battery) but I'll bet it's what you need! To get there, I typed in 12v batteries. Amazon was listed there as a source.

One or more ABS sensors or ride-height sensors could be bad. You need specialized dealer-only scanner to read codes to determine actual problem if new 12 volt battery didn't solve it.

Starter not getting voltage

The starter gets powered by the solenoid which is energized when the ignition key is turned to the start position. Look at the picture below and read the sequence of operation below it. Once you find out what is NOT happening - you can troubleshoot back from there.

The IGNITION KEY SWITCH is connected by a small wire to the terminal in the GREEN circle on the SOLENOID. The battery is connected by a thick, heavy cable to the terminal in the RED circle of the SOLENOID. The terminal in the YELLOW circle of the SOLENOID is connected to a thick, heavy cable that goes directly into the STARTER MOTOR.

The -12 volts from the battery is connected to the car's engine, frame and body. The entire car has -12 volts available to all electric (and mechanical) parts, so only one wire is needed to energize those parts.

When the key is held in the START position, +12 volts from the battery is passed through the IGNITION SWITCH to the GREEN terminal on the SOLENOID. This causes the SOLENOID to (1) become energized, (2) internally physically connects the +12 volts RED terminal to the YELLOW terminal and (3) physically engages the STARTER to the engine's flywheel. When this happens, the +12 volts from the battery appears on the YELLOW terminal; and directly into the STARTER MOTOR. The STARTER MOTOR spins. Since it is engaging the flywheel, the flywheel turns too and the engine attempts to start. Once the engine is running, the key is released. The SOLENOID (1) becomes de-energized (2) opens the physical connection between the RED and YELLOW terminals, (3) disengages the STARTER MOTOR from the flywheel and the STARTER MOTOR stops spinning.

I hope this helps!

I have a 2002 dodge caravan with a 3.3 in it. I have no power to the tcm unless i take the negative wire off battery then the hole plug has power what should I try

Hello! When you read the voltage to the TCM are you doing it with the TCM plug installed? If you are reading it with the plug off you are reading feedback voltage... Are you on on the Yellow wire on pin # 8?...Send a reading with main battery connected ...The plug in-place ...Use a safety pin and push the point into the Yellow wire on the rear of the connector...Set meter to read 12 volts...Clip the (+) probe to the safety pin and the (-) probe to bare metal chassis ground...Tell me what you read...Saailer

How do u charge a edelbrock power wheel corvette for kids 12 volt batteries and a 6 volt charger

Hello! Due to Charger Voltage Compatibility: Never use a battery charger unless the battery voltage matches the output voltage rating of the charger...Therefore do not use a 6-volt charger on a 12-volt battery and visa-versa...

My husband replaced the turn signals & headlight & now car wont start

Hello! I sent a test procedure to you Wednesday evening but It appears you did not receive it ..This is the path for Battery and Ground to pull the crank relay which applies +12 volts to the starter solenoid..Either there is a fault in this path or the starter itself was damaged in the collision...Leaving the ignition switch when in start ...+12 volts on the Yellow wire goes to the Crank fuse (10A)...Other side of fuse is Purple wire to PCM C-2 Pin # 23...+ 12 volts at this point...PCM sends a ground on C-2 pin #76...Yellow/Black wire to crank relay....+ 12 volts from the PCM ABS fuse (10A)...via Park/Neutral switch to crank relay...Relay pulls and applies +12 volts on the Purple wire that goes to the starter...That +12 volts, if there, indicates a starter damaged in the collision...If not there chase it back until you lose it...Would you be so kind as to not rate my solution until the test procedure is accomplished...Send a comment..saailer

My 1981 corvette won't start...there is no power getting from the battery to the can i fix this? I have tried charging the battery and jump starting it. I have also purchased a new battery....

If you have no power to anything, such as headlights
radio/wipers etc. The fusable link at the starter may
have fried. Try using a jumper wire from the battery connection on the alternator to the + post on the batt.
If you get you're power back, replace the link wire.
It's a rust colored wire on the battery con. at the solenoid. They somtimes have a yellow tag with the amp rating. This was a fairly common problem back
in the day. Also check for any shorted wires that may
have caused the link to pop, and make sure the alt.
starter and battery connections are clean and tight.
Hope this helps.

You could go back to Toys r us, to Radio Shack, or to Batteries Plus... perhaps even Best Buy, Fry's... or search on line by battery number. I hope this helps you find one.

Below the radio is a panel held on by two knobs labelled "driver" and "passenger." Unscrew these knobs to get to the radio battery cover. Remove the battery cover with a phillips screwdriver and replace the batteries.
