My fuel line keeps popping of my car
SOURCE: fuel injectors fuse is poping 30 amp, but before
the smoking inside your car are the wires burning, only use the specified fuse rating.Your going to have to spend some time tracing wires to see what is shorted.Get yourself a schematic and start with testing the resistance of your injectors to see that they are not shorted out and trace your way back to the fuse panel.
A quick way to check the injectors is to take the fuse out and put a test light from one fuse contact to the other,if there is a short then the light will be lit.Unplug an injector and see if the light goes out if yes then that is the bad one, check them one at a time, you can also use this method to unplug connections in the harness ,if the light goes out then the fault is between there and the injectors. Also check the manual to see what else is controlled by that fuse, might not be the injectors.
Before you do any of this, inspect the fuse panel and all wire to see that you have'nt melted any wires together and that maybe the wires were shorted out there to start with.Don't keep putting fuses in or you risk catching your car on fire
Good luck

the fuel sender unit is a float system, sounds like the float has a hole in it, and has fuel inside, therefore the float will not rise to the top when the tank is full...
disconnect battery..locate sender unit on top of fuel tank,,( usually located under rear seat )....remove the float and clean thoroughly....then repair hole
SOURCE: instructions for replacing fuel pump in a 2001 ford Escort ZX2
Remove the rear seat, remove the 4 screws holding the metal cover, and you'll see the top of the fuel tank. The pump module is held in place by a locking ring that can be removed by use of a brass punch and hammer. If the ring is rusted, it'll get damaged during removal and will need replaced. You can get a new ring from Ford. Once the ring is removed, you can pull the pump module out. Remove the small screws from the top of the module and you can pull the top off of the basket to gain access to the fuel pump. Replace the pump and get new fuel pump strainers.

One of your pulleys is probably wobbling letting it come off. With the belt off check each pulley for play and ease of spin.
