Rear your owners manual ?

Use Google to study why you get ABS light on?

SOURCE: abs light coming on , turn key off and it goes back out ?

depends if it just a rear abs or all four abs system. check the rear end on top of the diff there will be a wires coming off it. then the fronts you have to remove the wheels and follow the wire that goes to back of the rotors, and speeking of rotors, get your rotors machined if there is room or just replace them. there warped if your feeling the brake pedal pulsate or the car

SOURCE: the battery light comes on at low speeds or

First check your belt tension, you may have a worn out belt that needs to be replaced. If the belt condition and tension are fine have the charging system including the battery checked. Most likely you find tat the belt is bad by the way the light is acting.

The abs, engine light, hand brake light and speedo meter are non functional for my ford fiesta 1.6 2005 duratec engin

Hand brake light as you call it , will come on when other thing's are wrong in the brake system ,not just when the emergency brake is applied . Low fluid in the master cylinder will turn it on, the ABS control module can have it turned on when their is a ABS problem . etc..... With the ABS , check engine light ,emergency brake light on , code's are stored in the EBCM - electronic brake control module . The speedometer info. come's to the instrument cluster from the EBCM . Probably have a bad wheel speed sensor . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

ABS CHECK LIGHT DOESNT COME ON WHEN YOU TURN KEY ON

1. I would not be concerned because if there was a failure in the ABS you would definitely get an ABS warning light and the ABS and most likely the stability control/traction control systems (with added warning lights) will all switch off .

2. You can test if the ABS is operational. On a very quiet damp surface, straight, wide road( with NO other cars around), apply your brakes hard from a very low speed - up to 20 mph ONLY driving in a straight line - until the car stops. The front brakes should attempt to lock up under hard braking and if the ABS is operational you will feel it kick in and the brake pedal will pulsate as the ABS constantly allows brake pressure and then releases it to prevent the wheels from locking up on the damp road. If the ABS does not kick in be ready to release the brake pedal quickly to allow the wheels to rotate so you can steer the car safely. Without the ABS the front wheels should begin to lock up on the damp road surface due to the low level of tire grip. ONLY test this at very low speed and ONLY when driving in a straight line on a straight section of wide road with no other vehicles around.

ABS light comes on when stopped and restarted hot

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System

The ABS system measures wheel speed on each wheel. If one wheel is "seen" by the body computer as turning faster than the other 3 the ABS will apply brake pressure to that wheel to prevent a skid or spin.
Vehicle Stability Control uses the same equipment.
Interesting that your ABS was working before the repairs.

My abs light comes on occasionally. everything seems fine, then some times I can't stop as well as I should. It seems that the abs is kicking in & it makes ticking noises in brake pedal area. It also...

There's a service bulliten about that problem with rust build-up on the front hubs pushing the sensors out of posistion [ most common on the pickups in areas that use road salt ], it happens mostly at very low speed. The best way to find out the problem is to have the system scanned.

I have a 99 Discovery II and the Traction Control, Hill Descent Control and ABS lights have suddenly come on. What is the system fault or, in the alternative, how can they be reset?

Can't be reset if your ABS system or some component is faulty. check speed sensor on the wheel bearing, is there any rubbing or dull grinding noise coming from the front wheels? could be the entire bearing and speed sensor assembly has gone bad. this would cause all these faults to appear as that sensor triggers all these events in order to slow your vehicle while it downshifts itself and applies breaking to control the vehicle as a part of the stabilization system. The alternative is that the ABS system is not functioning properly and the trac control and hill decent systems are being deactivated as part of the fault. If the system cant apply breaking then the systems are rendered unavailable. the vehicle will stop but not using ABS just regular breaks. Check all ABS break fuses for damage.

Abs and brake lights comes on

What you will need to do is have the system scanned for codes. Your local Auto Zone or Advanced Auto will scan the vehicle at no cost for you. Write the code numbers down and reply back.
When both lights come on, it is indicating one of the ABS sensing components is not operating properly. Your base brakes will be fine, however the ABS function will not work properly. No danger of base brakes not stopping the vehicle.
My guess at this point would be a wheel speed sensor faulty, but again, only a guess until you get the codes scanned.
Get the codes and let me know.
