Absolutely no power

I must say that this is a great service!I left mykey in the on position all night and in the morning it would not start. I thought the battery was dead so I had someone jump start it for me but it will not stay running and the battery is not charging. When I had it jump started the man put the cables on backwards for about 40 seconds but it did start to smoke. I have no power at all. Do you have any suggestionsit is a 1995 mustang

Reversing the jumper cables for that long a time can ruin the alternator, that would cause the no charging problem. The battery itself might be "smoked" considering it was in its weakest state when the wires were crossed, the plates may be damaged. Using a battery charger and a voltmeter charge overnight and see if the voltage is 14 volts and holding after the charger is removed. If not the battery is suspect and needs to be tested (Advance Auto Parts Store). There may possibly be a fusible link blown but doesn't sound like it from your information.

Are there any Isuzu dealers in America anymore? I thought they all left. If you have one still, go to it.

Car won't start. Cranks fine, but no fire.

And do you have spark at the plug wires when it won't start? You need to check to see if you have spark at the plug wires. You can buy a simple tester for under $10.00 at the parts store and it will show you if you are getting spark.

Lack of power when accelerating

You really should have a code check done. There are numerous items that can give you similar symptoms. Two places to look are the fuel filter (usually overlooked till they gum up, and the throttle position sensor (but test it first with an ohmeter. You will need a manual (vehicle specific ones are available at most larger parts stores and most of those stores also do code testing free)

No Power sometime, Engine Light is Flashing

If fuel filter hasn't been done lately I would start there & if you can, have fuel pressure tested while your at it. You may have tired fuel pump but pressure test will confirm. If you recently filled up somewhere different last time you got gas, I'd also try some "Heet" or similar just incase you got a tank full with some water in it.

Hey cm_szasz!
Here's a diagnostic procedure for the power seats: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/PowerSeats.pdf

And here's a load of wiring diagram including power seats: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/SystemWiringDiagrams.pdf

The above links are for '95 models, but as far as I know they're identical.
Get the multimeter out and start checking voltages :)
Good luck mate!

2001 Pontiac Bonneville won't start

have you not left any load on overnight?..like park light or left the door partially open and the dome light would be left on?

have the battery recharge and the next night, make sure that no light would be left on the car.

if it would drain out again, have it recharged again, use it and on the night, make sure no light is left on the car, then remove the positive pole on the battery overnight.

the next morning, put the positive cable back and start the car.

if the car would start, then no problem with the battery, if the car would not start, then return the battery because it is defective.

tnx 4 using fixya,
