My car make knock from engine why 4.6 v8

Chances are your themos sensor is not working, Check for water leaks, check your oil for signs of water, if so ,your head gasket is shot.
Surely have have a problem circulating the water, this could be for many reasons.
ie: loose belts, water pump, thermostat, clogged radiator, lack of water, faulty temp. gauge.. your car knocks because the timing advances
when it overheats.

How many years or miles should a timing belt be changed on a 2000 V8 Tundra ?

Replace the timing belt at 90,000 miles or 10 years. Considering it is already 11 years old, replace it now. Warning: This is an interference engine. If the belt breaks you will have serious internal engine damage. The water pump is also driven by the cam belt so it is advisable to replace it at the same time you replace the cam belt in order to save labor cost later on when the pump fails. The pump will not last 180,000 miles so replace it now.

Engine is heating up. very low idle when stopped. turn on heater makes strange noise and affects the idle of the engine.

This is impossible to tell without seeing the vehicle, but check to be sure your sepentine belt is still intact and turning the alternater and the water pump. I've seen these go out b4, and these symptoms seem consistent with the belt not driving it's components, overheating (the water pump not being turned) and lack of electrical poiwer( the alternater not being turned). Good luck and contact me if you are still having problems. We will try our best to help you solve this!

1992 volvo 240 timing belt replacement

timimg belts usually don't make noise, they break and the motor stops!! The noise could be coming from a bad water pump, powersteering pump, air compresser, alternater, leaky exhaust, leaky vacume lines. Check them out. Or, I don't know the condition of the engin. Has it been neglected and are the bearing going? More history would be helpful.

Water pump

no need to pull the engine off. if you ar sure that there are no more bolts holding the water pump, tap it lightly with a hammer in the separation position . it is just stuck with the gasket. im sure it will come off the engine.
