Unplug fuse 14 wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Check the fuse with a meter - I hear they can go bad without visibly looking blown.
If that doesn't work its the CCM - Convenience/Comfort Control Module. It's up under the dash to the left the steering column, behind your headlight switch.

Sunroof won't close automatically.

Is the motor receiving power? If not you have to check electrical system to locate the place that is not transmitting power. Could be a fuse/relay, switch, bad connection.

If the motor is turning and nothing happens then the drive mechanism from motor to sunroof is stripped. Not good.

Replaced window switch on 02 prizm and now none of the windows work nor the sunroof. any ideas?

Check the fuses for the windows and sunroof. Good chance you blew them when plugging or unplugging them. If not the fuse, then recheck the plug for a good connection.

I have still not managed to solve this perennial Audi 80 problem - intermittent electric windows and sunroof. The sunroof has been stuck open for 6 days now! Both windows and sunroof either work or don't...

if you wiggle the fuse box and press the button does the windows work ? as it can be the fuse box its self not having a good connection to the relay or the fuses, to find out if the connection is good, using a pencil rub it on the connections on the relay and put in the fuse box again and then pull it out there should be lines in the pencil mark to confirm its connecting properly.

Battery died, replace battery still no rotation on start , windows won,t come up sunroof inop.

i have the same car same problem. i found you can put your windows back up by using your car key outside of the car lock and hold the key in the lock position and your windows and sunroof will close. the next time you want to put your windows down put your key in the unlock position and hold and they will go down your sunroof probably still wont work but atleast your not burning up on a hot day in june. as far as your car not starting try turning your ingition HOLD it in the START position put your foot on the break and drop the trans. into neutral and it should start. i hope this helped and good luck with your windows i still havent got mine to work :/

Sunroof will not close

When you press the button do you hear any noise coming from the sunroof? If not and you say you check the fuses then more the likely the motor burned out and you will have to replace it. But if you hear noise coming from the sunroof it may be that the sunroof came off track or is simply jammed for some reason.
