You probably let the gas get too low and the sediment of the tank is being picked up and passed through the fuel line, hence the stalling of the car. Dirty injectors.

When i have a full tank of gas my honda civic runs fine when it brakes when it uses gas it stalls when i brake

Hello James, It sounds to me that the gasoline pick up tube has come off of the electric fuel pump. The tube should reach to the bottom of the tank.

Stalls after start up, Stalls when braking, then runs fine after a few minutes

Check the ECU engine temperature sensor. If it thinks the engine is hot, it will struggle to run when cold.

I have a 2000 ford mustang with a 3.8l v6. Well I know it had been sitting for a while. But anyways when I go to start it, it will try forever to start if I tap the gas while turning the key it will start...

yes your plug wires are bad. this sounds like a fuel system problem (ie plugged filter, flat injector weak pump) a good tune up will take care of it all. the Ford dealer will have all the correct factory parts as well as ford trained technicians to do the job right. also in today's market place you would be surprised how competitively priced they are.

I have had a distributor cap and rotor corrosion problem that caused my vehicle to not start. It also chugged before dying. Today I once again replaced the cap and rotor. There is a bulletin addressing this problem.

Car stalls when accelerating

I would replace that tank (asap), so there can be a cap back on it.
With the cap off, the fuel system can't build up any pressure to hold the gas in the lines.
