Sounds like the fanis hiting something into the evaporater or heater core or the fan is going out and the wires are melting in the fan motor

My 2005 Dodge neon is making a loud noise in the rear end when I turn right. What could this be?

The best support site I have found for Dodge is at ALLPAR.COM. Look in the tech sections and you may find the answer or you can type in a question. Contrary to what one user posted, I have no affiliation with this website beyond having used it myself.

Loud Vibration / Sound Under Acceleration And Starting Engine.

Get the engine mounts checked. A bad mount may allow part of the engine to lie on a body or frame part, allowing engine vibrations to become very loud. Torquing of the engine (under load) can cause the same type problems.

My 2004 dodge neon sxt makes a loud grinding and rattling noise when i accelerate. the car is vibrating

I had the same problem with a Saturn I had and I would check the motor mount. If its coming loose it can damage a lot of other things costing more than what you would need.

Not blowing cold air, but has freon

I had this problem before. If you were hearing a rattling noise everytime you ran your air conditioner, and now it is not blowing cool air, that means your compressor is gone, you need another one.
I have a Dodge Stratus and when I would run my air i began to hear this rattling like balls were in there, but not real loud but enough to know that it was noticeable and that is what it was. I hope this helps

I have a 2005 dodge neon sxt, in the morning when I start it up I hear a loud knocking noise from the engine but after about 15 seconds it gets softer but is still there all day when I'm driving around.

It is probably your lifters sticking. Check your engine oil level and if thats fine, then add some oil detergent/additive that says it will "reduce engine knock and free sticky lifters" run with that additive for a couple hundred miles or until the noise gets better. then replce your oil after that without using the additive

My 2002 Dodge Neon makes a loud, almost grinding noise in the front end which is worse in the morning and lessens as it drives and warms up. Hear the noise only at lower speeds. There is no vibration...

I'd say there's no grease left in the CV joint boots, if it's front wheel drive. Something you should check right away, as your car has about reached that age, and if you run it without grease in the boots, you'll eat up the joints in a big hurry, and that's costly and dangerous as well.

2002 Neon front end passenger wheel clicks when turning right

Replace the CV axles. I say replace both of the axles because if one is going out, the other one is right behind it. This should get rid of your clicking sound/vibration.

Dodge Neon 2002 SE

the engine mounts and the transmission mounts are broken which causes vibration you can test this by slightly lifting the engine a little bit using a small floor jack but do not lift too much on the oil pan just enough to raise the engine a little and you will notice the vibration is gone if this is the case replace all the mounts.
