Changed fuel filter, fuel pump, kill switch and tuned up still will not start

Did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs, engine cranking? Did you use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, engine cranking? Also, check for fuel injector pulse.
Are there any applicable trouble codes?
I can only help with testing. Knowing if your missing spark--fuel--whatever will help with diagnoses.

You haven't listed if it is getting spark.

Have you pulled a plug wire and checked?

Car wont start

you could have a bad ignition module!, you need to check and see if you have spark when you crank it over. if you do then you need to check to see if you have fuel pressure! if you have fuel, spark and compression your engine will run.

2000 mercury cougar will not start

If it is getting spark I will assume the timing belt is working.
You say the fuel pump is good, so what is the fuel pressure at the rail ?
Are the spark plugs wet or dry ? Can you get it to try to start by using starting fluid ?
You may have to get someone to check the computer for trouble codes which requires a scanner or code reader.

I have a 99 mercury cougar that won't start, it's

Have you ran an Oil pressure test? low oil pressure (20lb)or no oil pressure(0lb)and the lifters will not open the valves enough to let fuel in to the cylinder to start your engine!

1996 4.3 wont start. Turns over, Spark OK, fuel 55psi

Fuel pressure is a little low. Will it start with a couple shots of carb spray in the throttle body? If it does and continues to run than the fuel pump is not providing enough pressure to to open the mechanical poppet valves on the end of the injectors. minimum fuel pressure is 58 psi. One PSI below spec is enough to make it not start.

Also check to make sure there is spark at each cylinder. just because there is spark at the ignition coil does not mean it is getting the the spark plugs. you may have a bad cap or a rotor that is burned through.

I have a 96 couger i changed full pump&crank sincer,malgel pik up,coil pack it still wont start

start by testing the spark with an inline plug tester, if good check fuel pressure at rail and then injector signal with a noid light, you are missing one of the three once you know what is lacking trouble shoot from there

My car started fine yesterday...today..its just turning over..like its not getting any fire..any suggestions

you need to determine if you have spark at plugs while turning the engine over,or if you don't have enough fuel pressure to fire it up,you will need at least 55psi of fuel pressure at the fuel rail to start

1999 mercury cougar. won't start...cranks...battery ok.

V6 ? 4CYL? Have you verified SPARK? Did anyone check the "fuel pump inertia switch?" Its in the right front kick panel. If it was a "Anti-theft Issue" the light would be on or flashing.
