Question about 1988 Ford Ranger
Can any one tell me how i can get the radio out. and if there is a way to get it out without removing the dash board would be great. The problem with the radio is it works for 3 secconds and then it stops but the tape player works so i know it isnt the speakers.
If you have two little holes on each side of the radio you first you have to remove the trim around the radio and if you do have the two holes on each you take a metal cloth hanger and shape it into a small-c-so both end go in top and bottom at the same time and make one for both side and then you be able to pull your radio out try this website to see if you can get any pictures and diagrams www.alldatadiy.com if all fails stop by your local library and get your hands on a Haynes auto repair manual for your truck please let me know if this help you Michigan Man.and the probelm with you radio is your antenna maybe loose.
