Whenever the check engine light is on it means that you will get error code messages about what the problems are by scanning the car's computer. If you have an AAMCO repair shop nearby drive there as they will scan your computer for free. Some auto parts stores also scan for free so call around. J.

It's very possible you have a faulty wheel sensor. Look behind each wheel. Around the center you can see a wire harness attached. Check each wire harness for broken wires. I don't think this car has a self test to tell you which wheel has the problem. You will probably have to take it to the dealer and let them tell you.
When the antilock light comes on your cars system is telling you of a problem and also that you have standard brakes now and no antilock.
You can most probably drive normally as long as the system is staying full of brake fluid.
