2007 YUKON WILL NOT START, STEERING WHEEL AND GEARS LOCKED, NO LIGHTS WHEN DOOR IS OPENED

Has this vehicle been left to sit for awhile without being started? If so, the battery may be dead and need to be recharged or replaced. But if your engine cranks that is not the case. It might also be that your security system has been activated and locked everything up (but I thing the door lights would work then). If the battery is charged and okay, then suggest you take the battery cables off the battery for a couple of hours and see if the secutiy system will deactivate. Or check your owners manual for resetting the secuity system.

1999 GMC Yukon. Rear AC cooling great. Font AC not cooling as well. Replaced orfice syphon tube, vaccumed down and recharged with 2lbs R134a. Checked front temp controller. All checks ok. Front AC still...

If the rear is working well and front is not I would suspect a blend door or actuator issue in the front.Double check and see if you can hear anything moving when you are adjusting temperature from hot to cold. Also check and make sure the air flow moves properly from defrost to vents and floor etc.

98 Yukon won't start. There is power but it won't turnover.

R U sure your fuel pump is working? Can U hear it load and unload fuel pressure by
turning the key on and off? If you don't hear the fuel pump check the fuel pump
relay. Swap out the relay. You need to make sure the battery is charged. I
believe if the battery is less than 9 volts it will not start. You need to
check the fuel pressure while cranking. If U have a timing light check each
plug independently to make sure they are firing correctly. U should see a consistent
rhythm of flashing light. No need to point light at anything, just make sure it
is consistent.

Not knowing how much U have check already. Start with the basics. I installed new distributor,
rotor, and spark plus in both my 97 & 97 gmc 5.7L trucks. Five months later
I started to have problems with both about a week apart to a point I couldn't
get it to even start. I had bought the fancy Bosch 4 prong spark plugs. I did
the timing light thing and discovered that the distributor was jumping time due
to fowling inside the cap. I went back to the standard AC Delco products. I my
opinion is the pins in the cap are made with some metal material that corrodes
easily.

I have a 2001 gmc yukon xl. i went out to start it and the battery was so dead the keyless entry wouldn't work. after jumping it to start, i could hear a hum, midway under the car, and the abs light was...

this noise is the abs trying to sort its self out it will stop in a short drive
find out why the battery went so flat as well,,,,,if you knock a battery out that flat it may not be any good at holding its charge any more,, and the car will take a long time to recharge it,,,if ever? try hooking the battery up to a mains charger,,, you dont need to remove it from the car if its only a small charger of say 5amps or so,,but it will need a fuw hours to fully recharge the battery,, to work out just how long it takes a 40amp battery will take 8 hours at 5 amps to fully recharge it
40amp divid by 5amp = 8hours,
