I accidentally mixed green anti-freeze with Read anti-freeze in a 2007 Hyundai Sonata will that ruin the engine

There are three different engines on the Sonata, but they are always on the flat part of the block, back and front.

Hyundai Sonata 2007 have the two variants which are Sonata GLS and Sonata SE. So check out the engine power of the Hyundai Sonata, which are as follows,

=> The Sonata GLS is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 162-hp and 164 lb.-ft of torque at 4,250 rpm.

=> The Sonata SE and Limited are powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine that pumps out 234-hp and 226 lb.-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm.

You have two options. A ..drain coolant, flush your system, add pr oper coolant or b...buy universal coolant and add it. Its preferred that if you don't buy premixed coolant, use distilled wate r to mix with it.

anti freez now is not the weather(it depends upon your location) simple distilled water in temperature upto 25C

Technically you can but shouldn't. Does your vehicle require dex cool? They have cool as nts you c as n buy that will mix with as ny color coolant that comes in different colors including green. If you have coolant already in your system you can either a..drain your coolant, flush system, add proper coolant or b... buy universal coolant and add. Its also perferable to use distilled water with it if you don't buy the pre mixed coolant

Well is not in the block is in the batton of the radiator, just make sure if the drain valve isnot too stock becarefull how to brake it loose because is a plastic valve and try to get extended life antifreeze for you coolant system

they say you cant mix different coolants but you can go to auto-zone etc, and buy a cheaper anti-freeze for general motors products. its a 50/50 mix for all gm cars and trucks.you can add this coolant to any brand of anti-freeze. its called universal type anti-freeze. to run a differant anti-freeze in it, you have to flush out complete engine and radiator because the dex-cool and the green stuff do not mix well and cause engine corrosion etc. dex-cool is reccomended for all chevy engines. good-day !

I would check and see if the vehicle contains Dex-Cool, the orange anti-freeze, or the regular green type anti-freeze. They make an anti-freeze that will mix with either type. Don't mix the green and orange types.
