Rover 25 immobiliser problems.

Disconnecting the battery makes the anti-theft module and the ECM lose its memory and pairing. The security system just needs to be reset, but apparently it has a code. Your best bet may be a local auto locksmith or an auto-electrician.

Immobiliser ?????? so i have been told

If, when you switch the ignition on, you get a dash light on, the symbol is a car with a key overlaid, you have somehow activated the immobilser You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, this may reset the immobiliser, If this does not work you will have to contact a Hyundai dealer to get the immobiliser unlock code.

Alarm and interior light draining battery

Without testing it's hard to say. Try changing the small battery in the immobiliser, if equipped. This may or may not work.

Immobiliser wont go off , wont unlock the doors.

There is a way to override the code, however you need the code number. The only other way is to sit in car with door shut, play with the central locking button on dash, locking and unlocking. While doing this occassionally turn the ignition on and off. If you do it long enough, you may find the immobiliser light goes out, if it does, quickly start the car.
