Replacing a fuel injector is easy.find fuel rail.find the injector you want to replace by first disconnecting each fuel injector one at a time ,listening for the engine to lag.if you disconnect a good injector, you will hear a big difference in how the engine is running.it might shut down..don\'t let that get your skirt bundeled up like a little girl.re connect it.do this until you find an injector that doesn\'t change how the engine idels.that is the bad injector.disconect the electric conector to that injector. there will be a few other tings you will have yer left.huh?stupid.to get out of your way as well.use some commen sense to access the injector .there will be a fuel rail that supplys fuel to the injector. you might have a bolt that holds the injector down to the rail.o rings keep the rail from pissing fuel all over the place.somthing holds that injectors place considering that only an o ring stops fuel from pissing on the ground and burning the worjd as you know it to the ground.look for a ten mill bolt that retains the injector to the fuel rail. remove thet bolt.some models have a bracket that holds many injectors.remove that frigen breacet.remove the bad injector.get some silicone greese and put it on the o ring of the new injector.push the new injector into the fuel rail.bolt it in,or bolt the whole retaining system that came with your model car.it\'s easy, all cars have the same systems.they just look different.some dad paid for saom kid to get an engineering degree and now that kid is like motzart.he can create what ever he wants. get a degree from an accreaded school.masters is a good start.midwestern universitys right now are offering half off tution .send your kid somewhere there.im not selling add.just a lieutent retired.works with the 171 carpenters Youngstown.graduate u r I don\'t let your kids get a psychology degree it wont pay in Midwestern states they are cheap when it comes to mental health.midwestern states know they have too many people with brain problems and don\'t want to pay to help them.im probly diminished in the crapy state of ohio.ha ha ha.im mad at ohio.get out fast.the whole state is unworthy of inhabintanch.that frigen basket ball player coming back.sorry think I screwed up .im not a typest.

could be alot of things but there are 3 basic principles/requirements for any gasoline engine to start. You need fuel, compression and ignition. Not much you can do about the compression short of having the engine rebuilt so focus on the other two. Fuel includes a good clean air supply (check air filter) and fresh gas (check and replace fuel filter). If the injectors have been already been cleaned, that's about all you can do. Have your spark plugs been replaced? Bad plugs will also cause this problem. The ignition system aslo consists of spark plug wires and other components that may need replacing. If this is beyond your mechanical capability, I'd have a mechanic connect the car to a scope to see if any of these systems are acting up.

SOURCE: fuel mileage and injector problem

You should probably get the catalitc conveter checked. If you are'nt getting rid of exhaust then you are wasting fuel by blowing it out the tailpipe.

Gas is leaking from my fuel rail (phlegm) on my number 5 fuel injector on my 1994 camaro

  • Park the Camaro on a flat, level surface and set the parking brake. Open the hood and secure it in place with the hood prop. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Open the gas tank to relieve pressure on the fuel lines.
  • Remove the sight shield from the fuel injector with a socket wrench. Loosen the screws on the hose clamps and disconnect the fuel lines connected to the injectors. Keep a rag handy to catch any fuel that leaks.
  • Disconnect the vacuum hose and ignition coil wire, then unplug the electrical connectors. Remove the fuel injector mounting bolts, undo the retaining clips and remove the fuel injectors.
  • Put a thin coat of engine oil on the new fuel injector's O-ring. Place the O-ring in position, install the new fuel injectors and secure the retaining clips. Install the mounting bolts with a torque wrench set at seven pounds.
  • Plug the electrical connectors back into the fuel injectors. Reconnect the vacuum hose and ignition coil wire. Connect the fuel lines and tighten the hose clamps with a screwdriver to secure them in place. Bolt the sight shield in place with a socket wrench.
  • Place the gas cap back on. Reconnect the negative battery cable

How do i remove the fuel injectors on a 1994 camaro 3.4 v6 im trying to replace the intake manifold gasket and cant get the injectors out of the fuel rail

You can generally remove all injectors with the fuel rail as a unit. Just unplug them from the wiring harness and pull up the fuel rail. The injectors are just pushed in with o-rings.

please check on compression of all the cylinders. IF there is any valve damage this could cause a fault. Please check this out if your fuel and spark are ok.

are you sure that the fuel injectors were clean when you replaced the o-ring or maybe there is still a piece of o-ring left inside the fuel injector port if this still does not work then replace o-ring with two rings a smaller o-ring and a larger one
