I breifly read the window does not go up or down ...1st check the fuses and theat they are properly seated in position 2nd check with a test light for power at the switch itself if none is present it usually resides within the rubber boot between the doorjamb as over use bending etc causing the wire to break again with a test light determine where power begins and ends and the use of a wire connector may be used for repair remove the rubber boot from both ends and installation of the boot is reverse procedure it may have a few screws holding it into place but otherwise it merely squeezes together and pulls out

Windows

The driver's window is used the most and after 15 years of up and down the armature in the window motor is worn in the area where it stops everytime the window is put all the way down. The easiest way to solve this problem is to live with it by not putting the window all the way down, leave it up about an inch or so. Otherwise you will have to have the window motor replaced.

My power windows would not go down( had the same problem few months ago, but it worked off & on ), have'nt been able to down it for a week, then today i pressed driver window button and it went down...

Sound like a problem with the windows motor, not relay. I suggest replace it definitively and wrong solve; I have the same problem in my Jeep ago few months, my windows go to down but won't up, some kicks solve this problem few time, then windows motor died.

Hope helps.

When i open my volkswagen golf remotely all the windows go down what can i do to solve this

you have a faulty key fob. its designed to open the windows only if you keep the 'open' button pressed down ans wind them up if you keep the 'lock' button pressed down. try using the spare keyfob if you have one.

TWO OF MY WINDOWS WONT GO UP OR DOWN

The motor that powers the window up and down is probably shot, and needs to be replaced. This requires removing the door panel, drilling out the power window mounting rivets, removing and replacing the motor. I have a 96 grand am, and over the last 3 years I have had to change all 4 power window motors. Not the best quality motor.

Window goes up then down half way on drivers side

I know this answer is going to sound strange but I had exactly the same problem on a 2007 93 convertible. When you closed the window it would reach the top and then go back down half way. You could edge the window up slowly but as soon as it reached the top it opened again. This was solved by taking to a dealer and upgrading the software for the windows under the manufacturers warranty. There is a firmware update that adjusts the sensitivity for the sensors and solved the problem instantly and i've had no problems for over two months.
Hope this helps.

Driver's Side Window Won't Stay Up

As mentioned here, this worked for me on a 55 reg:

Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. Then follow the calibrate instructions that can be found under "Windows" in the owner's manual. Took less than 5 minutes in all to fix.

It is the switch wear you roll up and down the windows. Get the switch replace and that should solve the problem.

If you disconnect the battery you must reprogram both windows by holding the button down until you hear it chime takes about 5 or so seconds. Repeat for the other window and this should solve the problem. This information should be in your owners manual, it is in mine
