This sounds like the blower motor is drawing more amps than the circuit is designed for causing the fuse to blow. disconnect the blower put in new fuse it probably won`t blow telling you that you need to replace the blower motor.

Turned defrost on heard the blower motor start and then it turned off. Now the air is not blowing on defrost, heat or A/C. Where exactly is the blower motor fuse located on the fuse panel? I know the fuses...

What make , model an year vehicle ? Probably not a fuse issue , fuse's don't blow for no reason . A short to ground in the electrical circuit is what causes fuse's to blow . Also a lot of vehicle's with electronic climate control use a blower motor control module . The way to find the problem would be to look at wiring diagrams to see what all is involved it turning on the blower motor . Then using a DMM - digital multi-meter to test the electrical circuit .

Suzuki x4 2009 fan does not spin but when I turn air on it blows cold air.

Not sure which fan you mean. Engine cooling fan is different from heat/air blower fan.

Got a1996 gmc safari when i turn on the heater the fuse blows... its a 20 amp

The resistor is not the likely candidate for a fuse problem. There is either a short in the electrical wiring to the blower motor, or the blower motor itself is faulty, causing the fuse to blow. Disconnect the blower motor from the circuit and try turning it on. If the fuse doesn't blow, it's probably the motor.

2002 venture heater fuse blowing out

You may have a bad resistor or blower motor, a quick test would be to remove the connector from the blower and then turn key on and turn controls to all blower speeds and if the fuse blows then resistor is bad, if the fuse does not blow then reconnect the blower and try the settings again and if fuse blow then blower is bad. good day

Bat Main 4 (30A) fuse is blown and A/C blower is not working.

By A/C blower you mean the A/C fan by the radiator? it is possible that the fan motor has failed therefore requiring more amperage to try to turn it and as a result it blows the fuse. Disconnect the fan and install good fuse and turn A/C on if the fuse does not blow replace the fan.

WHEN I TURN ON THE BLOWER MOTOR IT INSTANTLY BLOWS BOTH THE BLOWER MOTOR FUSES ANY SUGUSTIONS ON WHERE I CAN START TO LOOK FOR A PROBLEM I ALSO UNPLUGED THE MOTOR WIRE AND TURNED IT ON AND IT STILL BLEW...

The purpose of a fuse is to protect the wiring in a circuit. If it blows it is because of an overload which would occur if the blower motor is siezed or there is a short in the wiring. My first instinct is a problem with the blower motor. Try isolate the blower - disconnect the leads to the motor - and try switch it on. If the fuse blows again the problem would then be a shorted wire.

I turn the the fan on for the heating but the fan

Sounds like a seized up (bad bearings) blower motor. It may not pull enough current to blow the fuse at the lower fan settings but does at the high one. Something could also be jamming the blower fan in its air duct.

Most blower motors can be accessed under the hood. Replace the fuse then put the blower switch on one of the lower settings (don't blow the fuse). Get yourself a good sized screwdriver and hit the back of the blower motor with the screwdriver handle a couple of times.

Sometimes (unless the blower motor has totally seized up) you can get it to spin and this will tell you for sure you need a new blower. Other than that, you can get a spare blower motor, remove the connection wires from the old motor and hook them up to the new one to test before you go to the trouble of replacing the blower.

Hope this helps you out... -Dan
