Engine stalling at while in neutral

Lets take one thing at a time.
The squeal could be a slipping alternator belt. The alternator pulls hard on the belt when you first start the engine.
The EVAP sensor problem should not affect performance, just emissions.
The MAF code could be from a leak in the intake hose or air filter, or a wiring problem, instead of a faulty sensor. The sensor is telling the computer there is very little air flowing into the intake.
The miss-fire codes could be another ignition problem such as a coil or dist cap, or fuel problems such as injectors or low fuel pressure.
At this point you could take it back to the shop that replaced the MAF and have them recheck the car, or try a new shop.
If you pay a shop to diagnose a problem and their recommendation fails to fix the problem, they are on the hook to find the actual problem for free. If you tell them what to replace, its on your dime.

the transmission replcement mechanic may have missed plugging the 02 sensor back up,or layed the 02 sensor wires across the exhaust system, which burnt the 02 sensor wires.they also may have missed plugging sensors back up. suggest you go back to replacement mechanic and have them explain to you why it does'nt run the same. but do not be fooled, somethings not plugged back correctly.i know budget living. is check engine light on? if so, auto zone and advance auto parts can diagnose with printout for free. no charge! hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com us marine retired

Have your EGR valve checked. I just replaced one on a 95 towncar. It's my girl-friends car. It was $50.00 at Auto Zone. Local shops wanted $300. to replace it.

1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, surging, stalling

Check the Alternator, Mine was doing something similar to it, was almost dieing constantly, at stops in drive, lights would flicker alot on bumps and up hills when rpm's would increase. Also yea mine also got worse after it warmed up, I replaced the alt. with a reman. but unless it was professionally rebuilt by a local electrical shop (which are kind of rare now a days) I would just get a new one from a local parts house, Also you pay for what you get. Do not have the shop get the part for you because they have anywhere from a 10%-25% mark up on local parts houses which is close or above what you would pay

Throttle/Idle/running problem - wants to run too fast, or stall out

RPM's up and down check EGR valve and sensor. EGR valve and sensor control idle. That's why your getting the surging on rpm's and this could be giving out the other codes. If mass flow was bad car will not start and the same for the map sensor. O2 sensor measures gas and air for right mixer. TPS controls 0-60 speed as in throttle respons.
