Check the e brake pads. You can check this by pulling up on the e brake lever a few clicks and roll car a few hundred feet and if it stops after that then the e brake has glazing. Other causes could be a wore out bearing.

Chang brakelights on a sebrig

Hello!

  1. Open the trunk by using the driver's side trunk release latch or by manually unlocking it.
  2. Peel back the trunk liner to expose the wiring connector and taillight housing plastic retainers.
  3. Disconnect the wiring connector, loosen the plastic retainers and remove the taillight assembly from the car.
  4. Twist the turn signal bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the taillight assembly. Then, pull the malfunctioning bulb straight out of the socket.
  5. Insert the replacement bulb directly into the empty socket and then twist the socket back into the taillight assembly.
  6. Reinstall the tail light assembly.
  7. Activate the turn signal to make sure it's working. If it lights up, fasten the trunk lining back into place and close the trunk

Wont shift out of reverse, but the shifter moves up and down freel

your linkage on the transmission must be off. try having someone move the shifter while you watch the linkage arms under the car on the trans to make sure its all intact. it could be a loose or broken bolt on the trans causing it to not disengage from reverse this will cause it to not start.
