when the check engine comes most of the time its a senor..check your fluids .. if ok.... you can drive it...

Its likely that you have either a bad ignition switch or a bad neutral safety switch (if stickshift, clutch switch) Try starting in neutral...if it starts, change neutral switch (jump across clutch switch, check starting in neutral with your foot on the brake) Ignition switch is on top of steering column under dash.

Crank position sensor bad?
Are you sure the fuel pump is working? Might be the sending unit in the fuel pump that is bad. Clogged lines, clogged fuel injectors, clogged fuel filter, all things that could be checked.

Starter solenoid , or wire that leads to it.
Also , if standard transmission , may be the switch on clutch pedal is intermitant.
Engine won't turn over unless it thinks you have your foot on the clutch.

Your, car has a crankshaft sensor that, may not working.
Check, the sensor, it is located ( Near the Crankshaft,) You'll
need to look from under the car.
Or It may just NOT have a good connection.
Wet, DIRT bad connection rust on connector.
