2002 Nissan Sentra Defrost stuck. Only hot air comes out.

The blend door in the plenum is not moving. IT could be the control arm or the control or the door or the shaft. You can access it through the glove box.

I have a 2006 pt cruiser and the ac works fine but only blows through the top vents (defrost) it dont matter where i put the knob at it only blows through the defrost on top i can turn it to blow through...

If the mode door is vacuum operated, you have a vacuum leak. If it's an electric motor, you have an issue with the motor or controller circuit - or the switch. To properly diagnose you'd need a Tech2 or multiple diagnostic interface and GDS software.

Heater on 2003 kia spectra blows out defrost only

Your vent door may be stuck. If you have electric controls listen for a sound in the dash when your turn the knob from defrost to the vents. If you don't hear anything you will need to check the switch then the door/motor. Hope this will help you.

Heating / air conditioning control stuck to front defrost vents

There is a vacuum leak under the hood. Find the vacuum line on the passenger side where it comes through the firewall and follow it to the engine. You system needs vacuum to operate and without it the default setting is on defrost for safety reasons.
