Normal, indicates oil cleaning engine. Change oil every 3000 miles. Car may be running a little rich, have oxygen sensors checked, located on manifold underneath car. Also check egr valve for leak.

A4 always requires adding oil before it is due for an oil change, but only a few hundred miles is excessive. I buy 5 qts when it is on sale. Do you notice any leaks in garage?
What oil got changed? Engine oil? Trans. fluid? How long have you had the car since the output shaft seal was changed? What codes do you have coming from the TCM? Improper fluid levels or incorrect fluid type will cause severe problems with these units.
Simple. Take the possitive cable off the battery, with it laying to the side, get inside the vichecle and turn the ignition on and completely off three times. Re-install the positive cable to the post and this should take care of resetting the computer.
you might have a clogged oil line(s) to the turbo not allowing sufficient oil flow to the turbo remove the lines clean with carb cleaner clean the inside of the turbo be sure to scrape off burnt oil....change your oil and see if that works
