Aircon compressor siezed can I fit a shorter belt for a non aircon model and bypass my aircon?
There are numerous examples of fords with out ac but to be precise you will have to give the year and engine type. Quicker if you contact that ford dealer with this information as the spare parts department will have a belt if it is applicable. Remember that if the ac pulley is still free to turn then all you have to do is disconnect the wire to the compressor clutch behind the pulley and it becomes just an idler pulley

ford only on the newer models ,software readers like scansoft or digisoft will not touch it if its a europeon model ,dont know about cars sold in america weither its the same coded software or not

Good news...if you've got the 4 cylinder model, O'Reilly Auto Parts has a belt made by Gates Model #K060806. If you have the 6 cylinder model, it's Gates Model #K060623. I'm guessing you tried AutoZone first...I hate AZ for this reason alone. Anyways, hope this proves useful. Have a great night!

i think they have an idler pulley to replace the ac, check it out at an autoparts store
