check the fuse panel.... owners manual should list which fuse number is the trunk release. If fuse is blown, a new fuse may allow release of trunk. If latch release is bad or shorted out... the fuse may blow immediately.
Below is the information you needed the fuse you want to check is the fuse in the number 37 position. If you would like an owners manual for your vehicle, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model and year. I will be happy to email you a copy. No worries no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.
The location of the fuses are in a diagram in the owners manual.Should also be under/on the fuse block cover. There might be a AC relay fuse under the hood
Does the back seat fold down? If so you may be able to get into the trunk from the back seat. Check to see if a fuse is blown for the remote trunk latch. The owner's manual should help to see if there is a fuse for it.
I had this problem on my 2005 s type. The problem was the valet switch in the glove box was in the lock position.i pressed it ,and now it works fine.Try this..
look in the owner's manual - the fuses are by the drivers pedals in the console. there's a chart in the manual of which fuses operate what; then when you take the fuse panel cover off it shows which fuse is where.
