I would check the alternator. Check the battery terminal connections to make sure they are tight. My immediate response remains to check the alternator.

Ford bantam rocam 1.6i speedo, temperature gauge and rev counter not working

Sometimes when the batery of vehicle goes flat or when u fit a new car batery to the bantams they love to give that problems like gauges not working rpm not working speedo not working and cluster display is dead, u disconect the batery termanils and for example fit positive termanil and arc. Or short til that blue spark occur then u swop around negative on and arc positive, leave the ignition switched on arc til gauges move!! Don't ask me why but that happend to me! A autoelek friend of mine showed me this! NB don't tri this with vehicles with a lot of elektric featers it can cause demage to ecu (engine control unit)

Fault code on a 2004 Freelander td4 = P3505. Vehicle won't start at all? Please advise. Thanks.

from what research I have found it looks like the glow plugs is the answer to the question of what code # P3505 is.
