Question about 2005 Chrysler Sebring Conv
You either have a defective motor or a defective window regulator. The only way to be sure is to remove both and check. Remove the door panel, you will see three screws holding in the motor, remove the screws using a star screw driver. Take the motor apart and check it, you willfind 3 plastic plugs about the size of your small finger, remove these and replace with ball bearings. Pack with plenty of wheel bearing grease, now comes the difficult part. Using a punch punch out the rivits holding in the window regulator, then using a 1/4 inch drill bit drill out the aluminum holding the regulator, replace these using 1/4 screws and bolts. Apply grease on the wndow regulator, moving parts. Hope this is helpful.
