Possible blockage of the pump screen, or oil pan has been bent by hitting something and is blocking the screen, or defective oil pump.
You will have to take off the oil pan to find out exactly what the problem is. If it is a 4.3 with the cast aluminum pan, most likely a bad pump.

That would be an indication that the system is low on refrigerant. Jumpering the low pressure connector is a GREAT way to destroy the compressor. Compressor oil is circulated with refrigerant. When low on refrigerant and jumpering, you're running the compressor without oil

This darn little engine just keeps going. ... I have a 2003 chevy blazer and the oil cooler line from the oil filter to ... I have a 95 Chevy s10 v6 vortec 2wd that is slightly dripping oil out of agasket ... I'm having same problem 2001 Chevy Blazer 4x4 (not xtreme) not sure if those same bolts are missing on mine.
Not only does this YouTube video show the location of the oil filter on a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer, but it also claims that an entire oil change can easily be done by an average individual with a few common tools.
The oil filter is place underneath a flap on an easily-serviceable part of the car.
There's something you can do to check if the oil pump is still working screw off the oil filter and start it only for a few seconds if oil shoots out the pump is working if it doesn't the pump could be clogged or it lose prime if it's working check the wire going to the oil pressure switch may be broken.
nothing ..normal low pressure at idle while hot ...but really should be thinking fresh oil change and filter soon..also what are the RPM's at idle hot in gear with A/C radio and other accessories running?
