I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and it won't start. i have determined that its not getting fuel. I replaced the blown fuel pump fuse, but I'm still not getting fuel. There is a fuel pump relay also,...

The no fuel problem is usually caused by a defective or bad fuel pump. The blown fuel pump fuse is actually pointing to the pump or circuit being bad.

Need to drop the tank, so let someone who has done it before do it, it's worth it.

Gasoline is kind of dangerous to deal with since it is extremely flammable and volatile.

I have a 99 grand cherokee iwas driving about 10

check your fuel filter it could be restricted that won't show up on test. A faulty fuel pump wont show up either...next time it stalls check to see if you can hear the pump running when you turn the key on. (filter may be part of the regulator on top of the pump unit on top but outside the tank)

Cost to repairs 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Fuel pumps can cost up to $200. And it is more than likely in the gas tank. They will have to drop the tank to fix it. I payed $140 in labor on my 91 buick.

I'm not promoting this website but it's easy to navigate and will give you an idea on price of parts.

Aftermarket fuel pump failure? Try "thepartsladi" store on eBay for low price GM OEM parts. Could also be wiring harness to fuel pump.

Were is the fuel pump on a 99 jeep grand cherokee, and is it hard to replace?

You will not like my answer.

The fuel pump is inside the gas tank.

You will need to drain the tank and drop the tank to gain access to the fuel pump via the top of the gas tank.

Mark sure your new fuel pump has a new screen/sock filter.

Change filter filter at the same time!

99 Grand Marquis Fuel Pump problem

Lets try a new keyswitch and a fuel filter. The key activates the starter side of the ignition. This terminal should power both the starter solenoid and the fuel pump. Although the fuelpump runs on the ignition side continuously, you should be primed when the key is in the "on" position. I would wonder if the pump is cutting off too early meeting the resistance of a dirty fuel filter.

99 honda passport

your sending unit in the gas tank is bad. You most likely already priced a new one that you can only get with a fuel pump. {around 275-300 dolllars}. I found the sending unit by itself on ebay for around 40 dollars. Just go to ebay and type in 98 99 00 01 02 rodeo passport fuel sending unit and that should take you to the guy I'm getting mine from.
