Question about 1996 Dodge Stratus

Car wants to die at some stop lights.

I just purchased a 98 dodge stratus (literally today). I had an issue at a light where it wanted to die on me. It didn't but it probably would have if I hadn't started to move a little. I am obviously concerned as I just purchased the car, any info on what it might be.

Idle Air Control Motor. (IAC) Located on the throttle body. Clean it and adjust the IAC and idle speed the way the service manual says.

Why won't my 98 dodge stratus start?

Old and tired engine. 2.7, I would assume. Charge the battery and post the codes. Changing the valve seals only keeps it from smoking at start up. Burns the oil from the cylinders. If it smoked all the time it was the piston rings. Common on the 2.7 engines. Find another car.
