are they fitted in the rear doors or the parcel shelf ,if there aree no visable screws to un do if door fitted then will have to remove the door panel , if on parcel shelf same thing if no screws visable then remove from underneath , hope this is of some help
yes the rear parcel shelf has plastic clips holding it in place take one of these out the left one usually and the child anchor bolt you get with the seat goes straight into it same thread and all
The parcel shelf is that flat area behind you head of the rear seat. Normally has speakers or junk on it. On hatch back cars it lifts up as you open the hatch.
Remove the rear seat. On later models remove the rear upper quarter panel by pulling down & out to disengage the retainer clips, then sliding the roof leg out from under the trim panel over the door. Detach the rear seat belts through the slot in the rear parcel shelf. Pry up the plastic clips securing the rear parcel shelf. Then lift up & out to remove it from the vehicle. Remove the speaker retaining screws or tabs. If the speaker seal has bonded with the metal shelf, hold the tabs & pry the housing away from the metal. Disconnect the electical connector & remove the speaker. Install in reverse order. Good luck!
Remove entire rear seat assembly
Pry out the rear portion of the seat belt trim bezel.
Partialy remove the rear parcel shelf trim panel, slide it down and out of the way.
Remove the screws and detach the speakers.
Installation is reverse of removal, making sure that wire connectors face toward the center of the vehicle
Why do you need to remove the parcel shelf and the seats just to tint the window? If you are using film tint lay it on the outside of the window cut it a little larger than you need it. Clean the inside rear window then use a squirt bottle with soapy water in it spray the window roll out you tint using a squeegee to remove air pockets. Finally trim the edge with a razor blade window tinted.
It's a lot of work for just cleaning. Fold the rear seat down and remove the two 12mm bolts on the bottom corners of the seat back, pull the seat out. Between the seat bottom and the carpet you will find two tabs you need to pull and then pull the seat bottom up and out of the car. Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the seat bolsters to the area the seat bottom was covering. Pull the seat bolsters up and out of the car. Pop the "C" pillar trim off of the car (above the parcel shelf and beside the rear glass) (side airbag vehicles have a slightly different procedure.) Pull up on the parcel shelf carefully and evenly. Remove clean and put everything back together.
First remove the rear seat bottom cushion (grab the front edge roughly in the center of each seat position and pull up firmly, and it'll unclip and come out). Then fold down the rear seatbacks. Now, the side bolsters for the seats (between the seatbacks and the doors) have to come off. First, pull down strongly near the bottom (there's an upward-facing hook there that clips onto a ring and holds the bottom in place). Pull down and forward and it'll come off. Then slide your hand about 75% of the way up, and pop the bolster straight forward to pop out a retaining clip. Finally, you can remove the top of it from its mount, and you'll have the bolster out. Repeat for the other side.
Go into the trunk and look up at the bottom of the rear shelf. The harness plug for the third brake light is there - unplug it.
Now, back in the rear seat area, just grab the front edge of the parcel shelf and lift upward to pop it loose, and the whole thing will slide forward. Then you can remove your speakers.
