I have a 2000 motor home that has new batteries for running the motor and mariene battery for appliances and generator. They are constantly having to be boosted. Why won't they stay charged?

The new batteries are not being charged by the charging system(s) of your motor home.

You can stop by Autozone or comparable parts store and have them put a tester on your charging system and they will most likely show you have a defective alternator / charging system.

Just bought engine for my cadillac escalade yr 1999 and alternator and my battery wont stay charged what can be the problem

Either the alternator is not being energized with the key on, or the main wire from the alternator to the battery/starter is bad.
Have you checked output on the back of the alternator with the engine running ?

Have a 1996 Taurus wagon--dead battery--got brand new battery and connected it properly and car barely turns over and wont turn enough to start--car was sitting for about three months

Was the battery checked before it was sold to you? Batteries will lose their charge over a period of time even when not hooked up. If you have a voltmeter it should read 12.8 volts on a fully charged battery.
Have you tried to boost the car with cables?
I suspect if the car was working OK 3 months ago it should start. Which leads me to suggest an undercharged battery.

Won't stay running

I am guessing that you put in a new battery drove it for a day at most and went out the next day and it wont start. Well if this is true then you will need an alternator, your battery is not being charged. Your car can start a run without this but you wouldn't get that far and eazy way to figure this out is either charge your battery or have a friend jump, be sure to let it charge for 3-5 min. before trying to start.
If it starts than remove the jumper cables and let the car tun for another 2-3 min and turn it off. If you cant restart it than you will need a new alternator

My car sometimes wont start and when it does it cuts out and dies

Put a voltmeter on battery. It should say something like 12 volts. Start motor and see if you have about 14.5 volts while running. If not your charging system has failed.
