Question about 1994 Honda Civic
I just got this car. It's been sitting for 3+ years. Battery is a dead cell - it barely got me home.
There is this high pitched noise coming from the very very front corner of it. It's constant - doesn't stop at ANY time while the car is running. Whatever it is, it's right behind the washer fluid reservoir. It's not the power steering pump - that works fine.
It has been wrecked in the same area that the noise is coming from. Not very bad, the bumper is mesed up and the blinker is broken. Other than that no frame damage and nothing is pushed back out of place.
Sounds like the bearing in the alternator is shot. take the belt off the alt. start car if it stops replace alt.
