Question about Suzuki Forenza
I had this problem and had to replace the transmission range sensor. If you use a engine scan tool, I believe a code will come up indicating that it is a sensor. 2005 models are recalled for a problem with shifting and require reprogramming of the transmission control module. If you take your car to the dealership, they should be able to repair problem for $30 part and about $100 labor.
