It should be behind the front windshield when you look through the windshield outside on the drivers side

I have a 1998 chevrolet blazer and i would like to know where the chassis number is located.

all GM cars and trucks have an option sticker in the glove box , refer to that sticker , or the one in the door jamb (drivers side).
Or you can call the dealership ( any GM dealership) and give them the last 8 digits in the VIN and they will happily tell you the chassis number

There is a plate on the dash on the driver side in the corner, if you can't read that, there should be a plate either on the door under the lock mechanism or inside the door jamb under the latch catch.
