Did you happen to look at the voltage gauge when all of this happened. Was it reading less than 12 volts?
I think a good start would be to check the alternator to see if it is charging. With the engine running you should see more than 14 volts. If you see 12 or less volts the alternator is no longer charging. Once the other vehicle systems see low voltage they start to shut down and turn on indicators.
All of the things you mentioned happening are fairly consistant with low battery voltage.

Have a repair shop scan the vehicle for codes
& diagnose them
I fail to see,if your here, what you can do, without
professional tools & knowledge needed to use them

SOURCE: changed the actuator on my 2000 sierra but the service 4wd light

SOURCE: Is there a inline fuse for dash gauges and where is it
try cahnging the relays under the hood those are the square black fuses in the fuse box
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
the problem(s)
Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Anti-lock brake system. TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module. TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor System
