Check with Rocky Mountain Suspension Products, I think they have a pressure release valve to replace the stock unit that will help some but also have a larger power steering pump to fix your problem.

2005 chevy impala, the steering whel is hard to turn at low speeds, had pump and pullies replaced, was told it is not the rack and pinion or the steering box. What else could it be?

My guess would be possibly the power steering belt. Make sure it's tensioned properly and not worn. Since the problem only happens at low speed, it sounds like the system is losing proper fluid pressure when the engine slows down. Check the system for any fluid leaks as well.

My blower motor only works on 1 & 2 & 3 speeds dont work on 4 & 5. I was told to buy a blower motor. Need to know where this is located to replace on my 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer

If your blower works at some speeds and not others, the likelihood of the blower motor needing to be replaced is low. The more common problems would be either the switch or the resister that regulates the motor speed. The resistor is usually located in the air duct under the dash.

I have a 1994 Cadillac DeVille and it has a very loud whining noise which seems to getting louder. I've been told it is the power steering unit and not to worry about it. Don't you think it is advisable...

Yes. I would check the fluid level and belt tightness and perhaps change the belt. Also see if you are losing fluid at the pump or steering box. The noise might be air in the lines or from low hydraulic pressure if you hear it more while turning. If the noise persists have a second opinion or just change the pump to give yourself a margin of safety.

I have been told that my 98 Dodge truck which has 56,000 miles needs a new steering gear box. Steering wheel has about 2 to 3 inches of slack. Have put on a track bar and a tie rod for 700 bucks and still...

The gear boxes are just cheaply designed and made, its a very very common problem with these Dodge's. Even the new ones experience whats called the "death wobble", where the truck will all of a sudden veer left or right. The most common things ive replaced on these trucks to cure it is the track bar, and the gear box. $500 sounds about right for a new one, they arent very cheap.

Whenever I turn my steering wheel left to right it makes a noise

hallo
if power steering fluid is bubbly, means that its sucking air somewhere before(sucking side) (or on) power steering pump. that would explain the noise. Check (when cold) fluid level. if level is low, top up before starting the car. had a lot of cars that high preasure hose was leacking fluid on restricting valve. if so, fluid comes out on the end of protecting cover of the hose. (driver side on spark plugs and down the engine). replace hose with original. do not try to make it your self, becouse steering wheel will shake, sinse restracting valve is missing.
But if you press brake pedal, that has nothing to do with it.

2004 Silverado crew cab has rattle around steering

If you feel this rattle while driving at low speed or turning at low speed it is likely a worn out steering shaft coupler, it is very common.

No pwr steering assist turning left only @ idle/low speeds

Get yourself some Lucas Oil.
Remove about a cup of oil from your power steering reservoir.
Replace with a cup of Lucas Oil
I used it on my truck steering and within two days of running no more steering problems

2004 GMC Yukon Steering Problem

I have the same problem, low speeds and only when i turn to the left, steering locks or jams, but only at low speeds, and parking lot manuevers. Will replace gear box, simple 3 or 4 bolts, and can easily be done in a drive way or home garage. Hope this helps! 90% its the gear box even if you have the right one already.
Tips** you should have the 680 gear box and not the old one (670 3 bolt patter). The 680 should have 4 bolts. But there are issues and may need to be replaced. I had a faulty one!
