I have a 4.3 engine wont start in morning unless i pour gas in throtle body wont give a shot of gas when i turn on key but will start all day after first start in morning

without knowing the year, make, model, and mileage it sounds like you have a partially blocked fuel filter. the problem occurs after the vehicle sits for long periods of time such as overnight. the trash in the filter has time to settle and block the fuel line so the engine doesn't get the fuel it needs to start. by pouring gas into the engine you are allowing the engine to start and pressurize the fuel system and force the blockage out of the way enough to allow fuel to the engine, as long as you start it up every so often the the trash in the filter cant settle enough to restrict fuel flow. this will be a very good place to start looking for a fuel flow issue.

My name is matt and i have a 2000 gmc jimmy and it takes about 3 KEY TURNS TO START! once its started it runs! but if i cut it off ad then try to restart it it wont start till i pour fuel in my engine...

sounds like either you have a fuel pump going out or you have a fuel line that is leaking and causing air to get in the line causing the fuel system to lose it's prime.

Engine stalled out, would not start, pour gas in carb, cranks, keeps running, until idle falls below 12to1500rpm,than stalls out again and will not crank, repeat gas or starting fluid in carb, cranks runs and...

This truck is fuel injected, the problem sounds like a weak fuelpump, it runs when you pour gas into it until that gas runs out, the first thing is to test the fuel preasure, if the pump is weak it may run with gas poured into it but wont idle, also a common problem is the coolant temp sensor and the ground wires to thermostat housing bolt but i wont bet its the pump inside the fuel tank, if you put a fuel gauge on it there should be at least 55-61 psi if its a few pounds lower it can cause problems, you have everything else and it runs with gas poured so its a fuel problem check the preasure, theres a valve up top on the fuel line to connect a fuel gauge to it, start there hope this is helpful.

Water poured in fuel tank and ran into the fuel system now car wont start. whats the easiest and fastiest way to flush fuel system

you will have to replace the fuel filter sot remove it and run a line into a receptacle, then you can either cycle the key or connect a live to the fuel pump run until fuel is clear, disconnect the fuel lin at the rail and allow line to empty, reassemble system and add gas line antifreeze to the tand and cycle key a few time to purge system, it should start after a few cycles, the other alernative is to remove the fuel tank

Are you getting fuel? Try pouring some gas down carburetor if it fires check fuel filter and fuel pump for flow.Disconnect fuel line use a glass jar to catch fuel and turn engine over to see if fuel pump is working

CAR WONT START

If the car fired after pouring gas into the engine, then you should check your fuel pump, listen when you turn on the key, if you hear the fuel pump start and stop, then check your fuel pressure, all fuel injected vehicles have fuel pressure regulators, if your fuel pump isnt pushing enough pressure to the regulator the car will not start, and if it does start it wont operate properly, and may even leave you stranded.. If your fuel pressure is low, check the fuel filter, dirty filters restrict pressure, and are ALOT cheeper to replace than a fuel pump!

yes,you will have to drop the tank to get to the fuel pump. i would check the fuel lines for water deposit as well.
