You likely hit the speed bump hard enough to trip the INERTIAL CUTOFF SWITCH, which is designed to turn your fuel pump off in the event of a collision. Usually, the Inertial Cutoff Switch is located in the trunk near the hinge on the driver side. Check your Owner's Manual for its location, and simply hit the reset button.

My front end vibrates at low speeds when I hit a bump what is wrong it doesn’t always vibrate it just vibrates for about three seconds and then quit It’s a 2002 Kia Sportage

Check the front end for looseness. Especially the tie rod ends and cortrol arm bushings. Also check for any play in the hub bearings.

Why is my flex piping hunging low I hear it hit when I go over speed bumps and I also hear some kind of shaking noise when I hit a pump

Flex piping is not a permanent fix. as time goes it will start to flop as you hit bumps. You could try fastening it up or replace with the proper piping.

We pulled into a parking lot and we slowed down for a speed bump and the engine stalled and stopped running and now it will not start back up. What is the problem, can you help us.

Did you hit the speed bump hard? Might be a reset for the fuel pump, but on your model I'm not sure where. Just guessing. don-ohio (:^)

After hitting a bump my abs and tc lights came on in my 2005 equinox. They went of when i started the car again then came on after going over a speed bump

Hello.
The ABS, ( anti-lock break system ) has a sensor on each wheel that can come lose after hitting dips and speed bumps. If you are mecahanical you may be able to fix it yourself, if not, any auto shop can fix it in just a couple of minutes.

I'm not real sure about the tc, ( traction control ) system, sorry.
