How do i check the oil in a 2005 kia opt standard tramission

There are typically two plugs on the side of the transmission one is the fill and the lower one it the drain. Fill until the top hole begins to leak oil as the oil level is to the max position.

Changing transmission filter where is it located on a kia rondo 2007

Typically, the pan must be unbolted and removed to change the fluid/access the filter. This is a messy job! Some specialized tools may be required, too. And it is very important to use only the ****** fluid specified by the manufacturer.

I have a 02 kia sedon, what would stop the tramission from moving. I change the fluid, which it was black. It will not move now. Also the TNS relay was getting hot.I switch it with another one and the van move...

Whenever the transmission fluid is black it means the transmission is shot. when you see black fluid NEVER flush it because all the friction plates are gone and by flushing it your draining any friction material that may still be in the trans. Im sorry to say you need a trans overhaul :(

I have a 98 grandvoyager. I have trany fulid in the radiator. and a water leak that appears to be coming from where the hard line go in to the block. It looks like tranny fluid is leaking from there as...

I had the same issue with my Caravan....Needed to replace radiator, however, water in the transmission fluid will ruin the transmission...don't drive it! See a transmission specialist....Hope this is helpful.

I just did the same thing, I had to remove the air box to get to the reverse switch on the transaxle. I removed the switch and filled the fuild there.
