Check the ignitor pack/unit mounted on the front of the timing cover opposite side to the CAS looks like a square box with fins and a plug each side. the resisters are common to breaking off thier soldered mounts. the unit is identical to skyline if you cannot find a zx one....

Also swap coil for one from another cylinder that is firing this will check that the coil is ok....The ignitor box should cost around $100 $150 bucks 2nd hand.....but can be hard to find.....

Why no spark

There should be three coils mounted on the ignition module.
Each coil fires two plugs, one positive and one negative.
If one of the three coils is dead, it could be the coil. If every other plug is not firing, it could be the module.

will try to help.try checking the ignitor assesmbly, with out it your truck will not get fire or low fire,so low you won't catch it. the ignitor gives it an extra boost of fire to ignite the gas in the cylinders. try that, but if it checks bad, used ignitors must match numbers with old onr. try used auto parts online. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

Im getting fire from the coil to the cap but

Check the wire itself by placing it in a different position in the cap. If it's OK, check the inside of the cap for any carbon tracking especially near the #1 wire tower. You have spark from all other wires? It sounds like you have a bad cap. but check both.

I have 02 L300 3.0 with cylinder1 miss fire.I

Swap the coil pack to another cylinder if it is individual. If not, you should be able to pull the wire away from the plug and hear it fire. If not, you have a bad coil. If so, I would look at doing a compression test and possibly a leak down test.
