Question about 1992 Chevrolet Camaro
My 92 camaro rs v8 won't start. i was at the gas station putting some air in the tires when my car died. i tried to turn it back on but it only make a very faint clicking noise. i've replaced the starter, but found out a few days ago that my old starter was still good. so i then tried bypassing the VATS by inserting a 10 ohm resister on the wire that goes to the VATS to check for resistance. what else might the problem be?
If battery and conectors are very clean and tight, check for bad ground to engine from battery,,also fusable links off of starter or positive small post near fuses, important,,,is the alternator charging ? and have u tried a new battery? voltage should read 13.50 to 14.25 while running 12.5 to 12.65 when not running
