Why won't my Mazda mx6 not start?

If you connected the battery cables to the wrong posts, you may have fried a maxi fuse, or the computer.
I would start with testing the major fuses.

My 1993 Jaguar XJ6 wont turn over..the lights on the dashboard wont come on but the radio works and all the lights in the car..someone help please.

I recommend you have your battery tested. The starter requires MUCH more power than the radio does. You could also see if the car starts with a jump start. Also, as a general rule, a battery is only good for 3-4 years so if it is older than that it wants to be replaced anyhow : )

Good luck!!!

2003 mazda has a good battery and wont turn over. Lights and radio all work good

if the battery is good but the starter wont work then you need to replace your starter. it is held on by two bolts and has 2-3 wires on it. the hardest part of changing the starter is getting to it. sometimes the starter turns but wont turn the right speed anymore, so the engine wont fire.

My Mazda MX3 manual wants to stall when I come to a stop, when the lights, radio is on. I have changed the brake booster, battery, alternator, distributor. I can not find a vacuum leek either,

Check the earthing strips from the engine to body, and from the battery to the body, if they look corroded replace them - but you should take off the strips and sand down the contacts, dab with grease and refit tightly. try it again and if no difference I will advise further.

1993 mazda 626: could not get trans out of park!

Ignition lock is activated: You over rode it but still have original problem. Alarm system might be confused. SO....

1 disconnect battery negative (-) cable(make you have radio code if any) to reactivate radio, which works anyway if code was never set.

2 press brake peddle for 5 seconds

3 reconnect negative cable to battery.

use key and twist diver door lock to OPEN (this resets alarm which might have caused ignition lock module to activate.

You should be able to turn on the ignition, start the engine and shift out of park. Hope this helps.
