It took me a while to interpret your sentence. The fuse box has a specific fuse dedicated to the radio, you can find the diagram in the owners' manual or online. I found one that looks like fuse no. 20 is for the radio. Empty slots are listed as being 30, 35 and 36 but I don't know what that has to do with your problem. Many radios/stereo systems have their own fuse in the back of the unit, but you have to remove it to check that fuse. On some vehicles this can be a nightmare.

Where can I wire my accessorie wire for a radio in a 2010 vw tiguan 2.0t?

Are you planning on installing an after market radio ? If so, recommend you use an empty slot from the fuse panel to run power to your radio. This will help to avoid having other system components being affected by the new radio. If car still under warranty, it will not void it.

Hi does any body no where the fuse for the radio is kept in a 53 plate Peugeot partner van, radios stopped working surspect fuse, cheers thanks

If you pull the radio out, the fuse should be slotted into one of the conectors that go into the back of the radio unit, normally a 10a ...well on mine it is which is a 51 plate, think its the same model.

My radio and miles to empty stopped working in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. any thoughts?

Two different problems. The radio has two fuses. One in the fuse panel and one behind the radio where the plug inserts into it. The miles to empty is a logic chip error. The IP would have to be replaced to fix this.

How do you check fuse in the back of the radio?

1.Turn off the vehicle. Locate the main fuse box.
2.Locate a fuse box that isn't under the dashboard by checking under the hood of the car.
3.Look at the diagram on the inside of the fuse box's cover.
4.Determine if the fuse is blown by looking through the clear plastic casing.
5.Take the blown fuse to an electronics store or a car-parts store.Push the new fuse into the empty slot in the fuse box, making sure that it is in the same direction as the other fuses. It should slide in with a tight fit.Replace the fuse-box cover.
6.Complete the above steps before removing the car radio.Disconnect the car battery under the hood by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal (the black cable) of the battery. Remove the dash area around the car radio.Unscrew the four screws on each corner of the car stereo.Locate the fuse on the back of the car radio.

7.Take the blown fuse to a car-parts store or electronics store to find a replacement fuse. Place the new fuse into the car radio.lide the car radio back into the dash opening. Replace the corner screws followed by the dash trim panels. Put any screws and clips back into place.Reconnect the car battery. Turn the car on, and if the blown fuse was the problem, the radio should work.

Interior lights clock & radio not working, l200

I've had this problem for over a year. This did fix it but slightly different set up in UK models (2005 L200 4Work). Fuse box in driver side footwell has an empty raised fuse block numbered '5' in the manual. Inserting the spare 10amp fuse in this slot bypasses the problem.

Had the dealer swap out the 20A fuse for the lighter, but they broke the fuse box slot in the process (didn't realize it right away). We've had it "fixed" several times, which means bending the...

If the dealer broke the slot take it back to them as they are responsible for the repair. Other than that if you can get the fuse box loose and have enough room to get in behind it it shouldn't be difficult to reroute the wires to an empty slot.

Need to hook up radio 2 ignition switch

Most fuse panels have empty slots, use a test light or voltmeter & test for one that only has power when key is on.
