May I get the size of the motor you have out of the ones listed below.

Select the engine of your 2006ChryslerPT Cruiser:

• Available engines
  • 4 Cylinders B 2.4L SFI DOHC
  • 4 Cylinders E 2.4L Turbo
  • 4 Cylinders G 2.4L Turbo HO
  • 4 Cylinders S 2.4L SFI Turbo DOHC
  • 4 Cylinders X 2.4L SFI DOHC

The camshaft position sensor on an 04 pt is located on the right side of the engine, towards the top (looking at it from the front), directly in back behind the oil dipstick on a non-turbo

If you look at the front of the headlight, there are actually a couple of screws around the edge. These are your adjustment screws.

You may sneak it out with small fingers with out pulling out the starter.

If starter removal is required,Just unhook the battery cables,Remove the 2 bolts holding the starter on.

It is important to check teh oil. Low oil means low oil pressure and the car will not start. Try that good luck
