Problem for BMW 1999 318 ti

E46 2000 318i hunting on idle

changed breather off back of rocker - pcv - cam sens-crank sens- 02 sens- air meter- and still hunting . p0171 fault appears and traction light on . Bmw mechanic stuck. any suggestions on where to look. Cheers.

Clean or replace idle control valve.
