Water galleries inside the engine could be blocked with gunk. you can flush the system out using a home water blaster. but would involve a little mechanical no how as it involves removing the thermostat and blasting water through the engine..

When the car overheats be sure to check all pipes are hot if some pipes are cold there might be a air lock which stops the circulation are the car heaters blowing hot air ?if the rad ain't hot then those fans not going to do much good if everything is hot are the fans working ? Is it a faulty reading from the engine coolant sensor ? And don't rule out faulty new stuff I've had lots of faulty new stuff remove the thermostat to rule that out .

I have tried everything but my four wheeler overheats but the fan will not come on

Are you getting current to the thermostat switch? Isn't there a fuse somewhere in this circuit?

My engine compartment is unusually hot but the van does not overheat i think it is affecting the computer what can i do ? the fans work there is coolant there is oil everything is normal but everything...

It is how it is. IF you are not indicating overheat, and IF the cooling fans cycle on and off, you are at NORMAL temprature.

This temp needs to be higher than the olden days, to help emission issues.

A van is just a little worse than other vehicles. It sounds okay to me, from your description.

Fans dont work and overheats 94 toyota tercel

Most systems work pretty much the same. First check the fans themselves by hot wiring them to the battery. If they work, you need to check the engine temp sensor (some vehicles use one for gauge and fans, others use a separate one for fans) relay, and of course any fuses.
You will help yourself a lot by getting either a chilton or haynes manual to show you how to do testing.

My 1986 plymouth turismo runs hot and overheats

You say it gets hot and overheats, are you losing coolant when it overheats? If it isn't boiling over, you seemed to cover everything that could be wrong, the fan is working, if it is not boiling over, just registering hot on the gauge, I wonder if it's just a temp. sending unit that's bad, indicating a overheating problem when there really isn't one. The water pump is bad when the shaft bearings go bad, and it will leak at that point. So, let me know if the car is actually boiling over (steam visible, exiting the cooling system)

Backfiring 90 iroc z

One fan is for when the vehicle gets hot , the other for when you are running the ac. I am more concerned with your drivability problem when it gets hot and the reason it gets hot. one fan not running won't cause this. Due to the fact that it is backfireing and your speed is reduced, I wouild be looking at a possible pluged cat.

2000 Plymouth Voyager Overheating

The radiator cooling fan relay has most likely failed. It is underneath the air cleaner on the frame rail just behind the radiator. NO cooling fan = overheating. This is the first thing i would look at. Best way to tell is when the van gets hot see if the cooling fan is on. You will hear it running if it is coming on. It will set a code for the cooling fan relay also.
