Your going to need the A/C serviced, it sounds like you may have moisture in the system. As the A/C system starts to work, moisture turns in to ice and causes a blockage in the orifice tube causing the pressure switch to turn off the compressor clutch till the ice melts and the pressure drops again. Have the system vacuumed out and recharged. Good luck and keep me posted.

Heater just blows cold air

check your floorboard, any water in it? if so there is a heater core leak and it needs to be replaced. if not then the temp lever/knob is either blown (if electric), or the cable that opens and closes the hot/cold bypass has broken or loose. Is the dial hard to turn or super easy to turn, does it click as u turn it. also, check ur heater fuses in the fuse panel. One other thing it could be is ur thermostat has failed and is stuck in the "open position" the engine will take a lil longer to warm up and when it does, if it is stuck open and doesn't close then it is not controlling the water temp in the engine and therefore causing the heater to blow cold air.

Changed a frost plug on a 99 jeep cherokee and used new antifreeze and now gettin lil warm instead off hot heat inside ...why?

You have an air bubble in the coolant system. When the engine is cold, loosen the radiator cap to the first notch. Start the engine and warm to operating temperature. Turn the engine off and top off the radiator and overflow tank. Tighten the radiator cap and allow to completely cool down. After the engine is cold again, top off the overflow tank. The heater should work properly.
Good luck.

your ac compressor is freezing up try not putting it on cold all the way. put thermostat towards the red jus a lil but still on the cold side to see if that helps

Ac clutch

sounds like the system is either low or out of refrigerant. There is a low pressure switch in the system to shut it down in the event of freon loss. First , verify , then test for a freon leak. Once repaired, and recharged, will blow cold air again.
