The condensation drain line has either gotten plugged or has fallen off.
The component of an A/C system that makes the air cold is called the evaporator, logically it needs to be in the air-conditioned space. In cars it's nearly always in the dashboard on the passenger side.
Warm air holds more moisture than cold air, so as air is circulated through the evaporator to cool it, the moisture in the air condenses back to liquid, like a mini rain shower in a box. That water, usually called condensate, has to go somewhere so there is a hole in the bottom of the evaporator and a tube to carry it out of the cab, through the firewall, into the engine compartment and onto the ground.
If the tube becomes plugged, condensate will accumulate until it overflows an air vent. If it comes off or cracks, the problem is obvious. It's pretty common for a condensate drain in a car to plug, junk falls into the intake vent that won't fit down the drain.
Clearing it would be simple if getting to it wasn't so involved, check your service manual for details.
If the air-con is automatic, press the Mode button until the "arrow" sign pointing the "passager" sign appear on the air-con control panel. If is Manual control, trun the Mode Button until the alignment mark match with the "arrow point to the passager" on the contral panel. If no respone, the control is defective. Ask the air-con specialist to repair.

Most likely the freon has leaked from the system. Replacing it is a fairly simple process, but finding and repairing the leak is expensive (labor wise). Plus, in the States, federal law prohibits non-licensed personnel from working with freon and it's descendants. Find a good AC service shop and get an estimate--you may not need that AC air as much as you thought! Good luck!
Hi there, Sounds like a vent door switch. It's in your dash and it controls the vent door opening and closing and to which duct the air goes to, defrost, face vents, floor.
Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual at your local AP store for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step RR section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy
there is an air flow motor that changes the vents and opens and closes them. unfortunitely you truly want to wish this not to be your issue because in order to change it the entire dash AND heater box must be removed from the vehicle as well as the a/c discharged.
