Sorry about that mercedes did have carburated models in 89 model. I don't exactly knew what you meant by putting a 1/4 gas in the carburator.

My club car gas golf cart was running good then al the sudden wont go over idle speed

Perhaps it's a stuck carburetor float valve, bad fuel pump (if it has one) or clogged fuel filter.

I have a Chinese motor go kart put new carburetor on it can remember were all the hose connect from carburetor to the gokart needing diagram

Should be 1 hose from the gas tank bottom .that goes into the top hose connection on the carburetor . The smallest hose goes from the bottom of the carburetor to top of the tank . If you have a large hose it should be for the air breather.

1986 dodge truck, engine runs rich

It could be a bad accelerator pump inside the carburetor. The carb would need a rebuild kit.

I think there is bad gas getting to the carburetor.

still stock with stock carb? or it EFI.?
some are. newer.
no matter all gas motors same.
1: compression bad, (timing belt to cam bad)
2: no spark (or timed wrong ) you did only 1 of 2 tests.
3: bad fueling. try test fuel
1,,2 3, in that order or go crazy chasing tail. .

My 81 ford f100 has a 302 engine. Im having trouble when i accelerate it acts like it is straining to accelerate almost like i have filled it with bad gas. I changed the fuel filter that is under the carb...

There are several possible causes for this problem. Two of them from the newer gasohol fuel that was not used in 1981. I believe the trucks were the last vehicles to convert from carburetors to fuel injectors which originally were hybrid carburetors with injectors in the venturies.

The gasohol can dissolve the rubber valve in the front of the carburetors. The gaskets were not made for gasohol either. The rebuild kits for carburetors use a blue gasket which can handle the new fuel. The old gaskets swell and block the passages inside the carburetors.

You could check that filter you mentioned, seems like it is a low cost guess to replace as a possible solution.

Think about your past fuel sources, like where you could have bought bad gas. There are products like "HEET" which are suppose to draw moisture out of the fuel. It might help to try before you change filters and run the tank low with the additive and then put some good gas in; maybe a midgrade to insure octane rating.

Some one played a bad joke on me they put antifrezee in my gas tank and what to do to get out

Take to a garage and you will soon find out that "bad joke" is the wrong name for this. All gas must be removed and gas tank dropped and cleaned. you can only hope that that will fix it. Fuel pump, line and injectors may also need attention.

Carburetor

first thing to check is your fuel to the carb. you may have a bad fuel pump. remove the fuel line on the carb and put it in a cup or bowl. crank the vehicle for a little wyle and see if gas comes out. if not it's likely the fuel pump or the fuel filter is very clogged. if fuel does come out then you may need to clean your carb. good luck!
